This project focused on designing a modern social and community-driven digital platform centered around golf networking, player engagement, event participation, and real-time communication. The platform was structured to support multiple user journeys including authentication, profile creation, community interaction, chat systems, event discovery, and social feed engagement. The goal was to create a unified digital ecosystem where users can connect, share updates, join events, and interact with other players in a seamless and engaging experience.
The primary challenge was to design a highly complex multi-feature social platform UI while maintaining simplicity, clarity, and usability across all user flows. The system required handling multiple core modules including authentication screens, OTP verification, profile onboarding, social feeds, messaging interfaces, group interactions, and event-based golf activities. Balancing social media functionality with sports event management while keeping the interface intuitive and visually consistent was a key challenge, especially for mobile-first usability.
A structured UI/UX system was developed using WordPress with Elementor, focusing on clean modern interface design and app-like user experience. The authentication flow was designed with login, signup, email verification, OTP validation, password reset, and secure account creation processes. User onboarding screens were created to collect preferences such as play time, interests, skill level, gender, age, and location to personalize the experience.
A full social feed system was designed with posts, comments, reactions, and content sharing capabilities, alongside chat and group messaging interfaces to encourage community engagement. Event-based functionality was introduced for golf matches, tournaments, and casual meetups, allowing users to join events, view schedules, manage tee times, and interact with participants. The final design creates a complete digital ecosystem combining social networking, sports engagement, and community building in one platform.
The platform includes a complete authentication system featuring login, account creation, OTP verification, password reset, and secure email-based recovery flows. It also includes a personalized onboarding system where users can define preferences such as interests, play schedules, skill levels, and demographic information to enhance content relevance.
A dynamic social feed was integrated, allowing users to create posts, upload photos and videos, engage with comments, and interact through likes and shares. Messaging features include one-to-one chats, group conversations, and real-time communication layouts. The platform also supports golf event management with features such as match creation, tee time scheduling, event joining, location details, and participant tracking. The overall design ensures a seamless blend of social networking and sports community engagement.
The final design successfully transformed a complex multi-feature concept into a clean, user-friendly, and scalable digital platform. It improved usability across authentication, onboarding, social interaction, and event management flows while maintaining a consistent visual structure. The platform strengthened user engagement potential by combining community networking with sports-based interaction, creating a strong foundation for future development and expansion into a fully functional mobile or web application.
